Kia is throwing its hat into the global pickup truck arena, and unveiled its inaugural pickup truck, dubbed 'The Kia Tasman'.
The name 'Tasman' is inspired by Tasmania, the southernmost state of Australia, and the Tasman Sea. Tasmania is renowned for its rich culture and stunning natural landscapes.
Kia highlights the bold pioneering spirit and the mystical allure of untamed nature found on the island, projecting the image of a versatile 'lifestyle pickup' that ignites new challenges and inspiration in both work and life.
Kia plans to sequentially launch the midsize pickup Tasman in global markets, including South Korea, Australia, and the Middle East, starting from 2025, introducing the K-Pickup Truck.

Additionally, Kia teased the pickup truck release by unveiling a video featuring a blacksmith inspired by the beauty of Tasmania crafting the Kia Tasman emblem.
