Apple's iPad mini 6, which is expected to be released this fall, will be equipped with a new A15 chip and a smart connector.
The next-generation iPad mini, codenamed 'J310', will feature the A15 chip, which is expected to debut in the iPhone 13 series later this year, the media reported.
The A15 chip will be made on the same 5-nm manufacturing process as the A14 chip, and Apple is reportedly working on a more powerful A15X chip for other upcoming iPad models.
The iPad mini 6 will be equipped with a smart connector. This news was expected last month by famous IT tipster John Prosser, who also revealed the iPad mini 6 renderings.
Also, the new iPad mini will feature a magnetic smart connector similar to the recently released iPad Air and iPad Pro.
